As we begin to Reflect on the 75 years long journey of the Archdiocese of Karachi, we see how blessed we have been. Our forefathers of the Archdiocese concentrated on the building of the Christian community by pastoral and spiritual care along with the uplift of the community through education and medical care. Our educational institutions and medical facilities have been the pride of Karachi and we are still respected for them. Then there is the care of the rejected of society, the orphans, the disabled which has been the center of attention of the Archdiocese. All this indeed calls us to Rejoice for the many blessings we have received through our God.

Yet now is the time to Renew ourselves. During the 75 years of this Archdiocese It was seen that the “cream” of the archdiocese chose to migrate to “greener” pastures which led to a fall in standard  of our institutions and at present, its effects are still seen. Yet we see so much potential and energy is there in our youth and what is needed is professional training and empowerment of our youth.

At the end, I take the occasion to thank the Team that has worked day and night to get this Website online. It has truly been a daunting task yet they have tried their best to get the Website working for the 75^th Diamond Jubilee. Thank you and God Bless you all.
